Mommotti

"Mommotti" is the Boogeyman of my country.

Its name is usually used to scare to death children in order to make them sleep.

Later we can discuss how fear can actually make somebody sleep, but that's another problem.

Done with vectors in Photoshop.

Long time no see

Ok, a lot of dust and cobwebs around here, not to mention all the spam my last post is attracting.

Better clean up and put new stuff here!

Some time ago I did this painting for a friend: I used some custom brushes made during Schoolism classes, worked with textures, multiply, overlay and color...You know, good ol' teacher Bobby's way!

Hope you enjoy it! And with "you" I mean you evil spammers, of course.

...And the last one is...Damn, Bid won the race!!

Bid won the race, and went really creative on it! Congrats, your piece is great!

Mine is so ordinary...Yeah, I'm talking to you, big hairy Smurf, and don't look at me like that!

Well, it is over...Pizza anyone?

...and the last one is here...

Hi,

Our class is over but at least I convinced a Snowman to register for the next one. I learned a lot and I think I'm ready to try Bobby's techniques on my own paintings.
And I want to thank you Rik for being so supportive and fun. This course wouldn't be the same without you. I hope you'll keep posting here.

Cheers,
BiDzej

Lesson 8...One to go!

Hi there!

Here we are with lesson 8, one more lesson to go and then it's over. Sad.

By the way, hope you like my bigfoot walking lonely in the...Oh my God, what the hell is that goddam cactus doin' there?!? C'mon man, pull yourself together!!

P.S.: whops, now that I look the uploaded image, it's different from my psd file, way oversaturated!

Lesson 7 takes a night out

Jeez, a real shame.

My assignment went out during New Year's Eve. It was thin and good looking before...Now it's fat, drunk and God knows what it did.

Most certainly I don't wanna investigate.

Xmas Cactus

Hi,

It's not a Xmas tree but since the temperatures were higher today I think the cactus is
more suitable :)

Cheers,
BiDzej

Merry Xmas Everybody!

Hi everybody!

In case we don't catch any time soon, merry Xmas to all the Schoolism student, teacher, janitors (now that I think about it...Does Schoolism have janitors?!?).

Well, who cares!

Have fun, be good, no fingers in the nose and stuff like that, you know!

Bye!

assignment 6!

hey guys! here's my assignment six:

not quite as creative as yours, rik! hehe!

but it was a really fun assignment!

...formerly known as a bald women

Hi,
Here's the assignment number six. I think I'll post more soon 'cause it's a real fun painting different hairstyles.

Cheers,
BiDzej

Hair!

Hi there!

This is my assignment for lesson...Mmh, I don't remember the number.

Whatever, for hairy lesson.

And this...Well, let's say I couldn't help it...

Sleepwalking

Here's what I've learned so far... Used one of my drawings and painted it using the techniques from the first three lessons. Hope you like it.

Cheers,

Has anyone seen Frodo?

Nope!

hello!

hello! this is my first post, so here are my assignments so far...

and this is the current assignment. i gave her angry eyes for fun:

i'm still not totally happy with it... i'm having such a hard time with the rocks! it seems like they need to be defined but when i try to define them i paint over the texture and they look flat and blurry. anyone have any rock painting tips?

Assignment 4

That's my Kangamole Bunny.

I'm not happy at all with this assignment. The rock wall on the left is poor, the image isn't complete, doesn't feel like a composite piece.

That being said, Bobby really needs to stop doing weird genetic experiment with different animals.

Kangamolebunny

Hi guys,
Here's my kangamolebunny...

Caterfroggysluggypillar or whatever

Lesson three was definitely a lot of fun. Loved the technique!

Assignments no. 2 & 3

Hi everyone,
Here's what I've been doing lately.
I've been painting the bodybuilder again but it's not finished yet.
I had no problems with the second assignment. I don't know If the final result is good but I'm happy with it. The third assignment was a lot of fun but it took me hours to finish it.

Cheers,
BiDzej

Assigment 2, aka Pain in the @$%$

Hi everybody!

After hours and hours, here's my assignment for lesson two.

Don't know you guys, but it took me a lifetime to get into the color/overlay thing, in terms of saturation and stuff.

In the end I was messing with final hue/levels adjustments, so I decided it was time to upload.

Bye!

Oh, yeah. I put some yellow glows on those zombies, as if they had some fire. I thought "Ok, what's better than zombie natives? Fiery zombie natives".

First Lesson

Hi guys,

Here's my first homework. I had the same problems with the Flow and Opacity as everyone else but I think I'm getting better at it. Feel free to comment.
Cheers,
BiDzej
